Be a Grandpal

Write Letters to Seniors: Become a GrandPal

Provide companionship for older adults in your community and connect with seniors through our GrandPal Program. Become a pen pal by writing letters to share stories, build friendships, and make someone smile.

The GrandPal Program bridges generations, reduces loneliness, and sparks lasting friendships—all with the power of the written word.

Through the simple joy of letter writing, this program connects older adults with children and families. GrandPals share stories, encouragement, and wisdom while children experience the excitement of receiving personal notes and building meaningful connections. Kids can practice their writing and storytelling skills, understand the value of community and friendship, and learn how to address and send mail.

By becoming a GrandPal, you are committing to sending a minimum of one letter per month to your senior pen pal. However, you are always welcome to send more!

If you would like to participate in the GrandPal Program, please fill out our form to be part of this heartwarming exchange.

Senior Cheer Box

Send a smile with a Senior Cheer Box. These care packages are friendly ways to show support and brighten someone’s day.

Through our partnership with
Thumbs Up, a local organization supporting mental health awareness, we are proud to sponsor Senior Cheer Boxes. These thoughtful care packages are designed to uplift and encourage older adults in our community.

Senior Cheer Boxes provide inspiration and connection for those who may feel isolated or alone, particularly if they live independently. Filled with goodies, activities, trinkets, and other items, these boxes serve as a reminder for seniors that they are valued, supported, and loved.

If you know a senior who could benefit from receiving a Cheer Box, fill out a nomination form.
